Before adding chlorine in the pool, you need to adjust the pH level of the pool water. If you get any deviation in pH, adjust with chemicals. You can raise the pH level by adding soda ash or baking soda. Use Sodium disulphate or muriatic acid to lower pH levels. Circulate pool water to mix chemicals evenly.

Shock your pool water with chlorine and ensure that the chlorine level is under 3 ppm before going to use the pool. You can also use chlorine granules to the shock pool water. Experts and pool manufacture suggest using 2.5 tablespoons of bleach for every 100 gallons of pool water.

How To Fix Inflatable Pool Ring

Inflatable pools are very popular to those persons who don’t have sufficient land on the backyard and want to use the backyard for multiple uses. You already know the benefits of the inflatable pool but you will face the holes in the top ring. Follow the following things in the time of fixing holes in the top rings.

Step 01

First of all, overfill the pool ring with an air compressor until it becomes hard. Spray the pool ring with a soapy water mixture. 

Step 02

Spread the soapy water mixture inside and underside of the pool ring and rub your hand over the pool ring to get the hole. You will feel the flow of the air in your hand or you will see the bubbles on the ring in case of having any holes. 

Step 03

Whenever you will see any hole, wipe off the place with a piece of tissue and mark with a permanent marker. Thus mark all holes before deflating the ring. 

Step 04

After finding all holes and deflating the pool ring, abrade each hole with a sand paper. Now clean the area of the hole with as soft cloth and rubbing alcohol. 

Step 05

Cut out a patch in a circular way and keep the patch approximately 50 to 60 percent larger the size of holes. Circular patches are suitable because they don’t peel like rectangular type patch. 

Step 06

After applying the glue on the patches, press them on the hole. Pressure and hold the patches for a certain amount of time according to the instruction of the kit box. 

Step 07

Lastly, inflate the pool ring and check whether they become deflated or not. If you don’t see any air flow problems, it is okay.
